The New Year 2009

Happy New Year! 2009! A year of new beginnings. New Year's Eve we had a snow fall and I captured these pictures from my back door. Signs of my Summer days on the courtyard now covered in Winter White. Sparkling; clean. Covered with a snow blanket from above. Now, I cannot tell a lie. I do not care for the cold Winter months and prefer Summer (ssshhhh). But, give me a camera as the snow falls, in my pjs, in my warm, cozy home with no place to go, and I will see all the beauty Winter has to offer me. Wishing you all a wonderful blessed New Year filled with everyday joys.

I don't like the cold but I love snow. Now does that make any sense? We got a huge dumping right after Christmas. The kids love it. Your yard looks so pretty.

Hi Susie,

Wow! Sometimes I wish we had snow here. Those are beautiful pictures. I don't know if I could survive the cold though. LOL I was freezing today and it was 56. :) Have a wonderful week.

I'm with you Susie. I don't like winter weather either. But the snow sure is pretty. It looks so "lacy" there in that picture.
