Finally I love to look forward to Mondays, all thanks to Show and Tell Mondays on all the Make Mine Pink boutique blogs. I am a collector of many things, like so many of us are. Today I hit the Mother lode while out treasure hunting at antique shops. Boxes and boxes of beautiful laces! I think I started hyperventilating! The shop owner was selling them by the yard (shucks!) and she told me how she purchased the entire "lot" of about 5 big boxes from an auction in New Jersey. I selected two different laces and walked away a happy gal. She asked me what I was going to make and I said I didn't know. I like to collect beautiful things and lace is one of them. My show and tell is a pillow I made from exactly that: beautiful laces and an esquisite floral crewel piece, all treasures I found here and there.
