Nothing warms my heart more than decorating in the feminine colors for the season of Christmas. I usually use items around the home that bring me joy and dress them up with jewels, ribbons and ornaments to add sparkle and shine. Small groupings of treasures can brighten up a corner of a room with little money spent.

Oh Christmas Tree! Oh Christmas Tree!
Here is a sampling of one of my treasured Christmas trees found around my home. This is my feather shoe tree made up of my delightful ladies, "If The Shoe Fits~Altered Art for Cinderella Dreams". I must confess, I keep this tree up year round to display my gals. It is such eye candy for me, and for anyone who knows me, I love candy!! These are all made up as one of a kind from years of collecting vintage laces, esquisite brooches, silk roses, bits and baubles. Romantic decor for feminine tastes.

Busy in My Studio
The first picture is a special Christmas gift box I made for a friend. She loved the way I decorated her birthday gift box and I knew I wanted to make her one for the holidays too. She said she would put her own gift in it to open on Christmas morning. We are all like little kids on Christmas, aren't we?
Just like all the little elves in Santa's workshop, I have been busy creating in my creative space. I have been day dreaming about this new altered art Cinderella slipper for a long time now as I collected the right fabric, then the most esquisite brooch, which is a piece from Sarah Coventry. I wanted to give a sneak peek since she won't be ready for her debut until she is coiffed and prim and proper, after all! Stay tuned....
