Pulling Out All the Lace

I am just beginning to rediscover all my 'stash' of beautiful laces and embellishments I have accumulated over the days, weeks, months and years of being an avid treasure hunter. I use the word 'rediscover' because it is all tucked away like precious gems awaiting their time in the spot light. That is what happened when I came across this beautiful lace. When I saw this, I had to have it for the lace alone. Guess what it is? Take a gander and leave me a response on my blog. I have something sweet and pink awaiting one lucky person. The winner will be chosen on Thursday, July 17th. Will it be you?

Hi Susie,
I love that purse. If I guess that the lace is beautiful, does that count? My only other guess is maybe a skirt.

That purse is great...I can see what looks like scallops hanging down...is it a tablecloth?

Okay Susie,
I can really get into this challenge. Let me see. It is an apron. The most beautiful apron she could make to take to housekeeping. She borrowed the lace from her mother's precious fichu. But alas, she never got to wear the apron. Her only love was lost at sea, so it stayed in her wedding chest long after her death, until a romantic treasure hunter name Susie beheld it in all its glory, and tenderly took it home (after she paid a small fortune for it, lol)
Am I entered? lol

I think it's a dresser scarf. Very pretty lace & very pretty bag too. Vintage & funky at the same time!

Suuuuuuusssssssiiiiiieeee, my little chick, thank you! I'd love for you to add me to your blog. Ooooh, be still my heart, chattering cherub!! Yesssss, I'm adding you to mine right away, sweetpea. I'm gonna go look for pillows right now. Ya know, sweets, sometimes I don't wanna sew; I wanna TREAT myself to someone else's pillows and items. I buy a lot on the net, but my daughter spends about $2500.00 a month on ebay so I can't outdo her for sure. I think she has a problem! ;-) Ya think?!?! Anyway, I'll be looking at ya, girlfriend!
